The Art of Intimacy
The Original, Iconic Design
At Zen By Design, we are the creators of the original Tantra Chair® design—a pioneering vision of intimacy furniture refined through thoughtful innovation and meticulous attention to proportion. In a market crowded with imitations, our design stands apart for its carefully developed contours and dimensions, created to work in harmony with the body and provide exceptional comfort, support, and freedom of movement. Every curve serves a purpose, every detail reflects intention, and every element is designed to elevate the experience of intimate living. For those seeking a deeper understanding of our design, our dedicated website, www.tantrachair.com, offers more in-depth presentations showcasing the chair’s unique functionality, craftsmanship, and design philosophy. When it comes to the original Tantra Chair®, authenticity makes all the difference.
The Highest Quality
Each chair is thoughtfully designed and meticulously crafted using exceptional materials and time-honored techniques. From the smallest detail to the finished piece, we believe true quality lies in the care taken to create something built to last, beautiful to behold, and extraordinary to experience.

Zen By Design is dedicated to exceptional customer care, providing thoughtful, personal service from the first conversation to the final delivery. We strive to exceed expectations at every step, while creating handcrafted chairs designed to enhance intimacy, connection, and comfort.
Celebrating 26 Years
Our chairs have found a place in more than 100,000 homes worldwide. We are recognized for exceptional quality and innovative design, but our mission goes beyond craftsmanship. We believe thoughtfully designed furniture can do more than serve a purpose—it can elevate the human spirit, nurture meaningful relationships, and create space for greater intimacy, love, and mutual appreciation. Ultimately, we hope our work inspires a world where connection is celebrated, and love is honored.
